Scrubalicious! Baby Phat® Fine Medical Apparel by Kimora Lee Simmons
What made a famous fashion icon like Kimora Lee Simmons decide shekimora wanted to design a scrub line? The Scrub Insider decided to find out. Insider discovered Kimora Lee loves medical professionals and wanted to give a little bit of her fashion flair to those who care for others. As Kimora Lee herself states it:
“ Baby Phat® by Kimora Lee Simmons celebrates the diversity and beauty of the career-oriented woman in the medical industry. We are a brand dedicated to providing women with certain elements of fashion, flair, and fabulosity in their everyday wardrobe needs.”

That fabulosity is perfectly showcased in the Go Wild Collection now appearing in the Scrubs & Beyond Summer 2010 catalog. Baby Phat® is truly a designer collection with every detail from color to fit approved personally by Kimora Lee.

The Go Wild collection is a limited edition grouping, available only until the end of summer …or while they last!

Designer details include the Baby Phat® cat icon embroidered or printed on every Baby Phat style. In each Baby Phat print you will also find a secret little Baby Phat icon cleverly designed into the print. It is Kimora Lee’s own designer touch.
The best influence this designer has had on scrubs is the fit. Kimora Lee’s fashion experience has taught her what does and doesn’t work for a woman’s body. The Baby Phat fit is shaped and flattering and perfectly comfortable for the demanding work day of medical professionals.
And something shared with the Scrubs Insider is the quality. Kimora Lee’s reputation as a demanding diva isn’t just limited to her wardrobe. Oh no girls, she demanded that the scrubs she designed for you with her designer label on them MUST be quality fabric and quality sewing. And you can see that once you get your own fabulous Baby Phat scrubs! Once you put them on, well of course you will look scrubalicious, but you’ll also know these are designer scrubs! Truly unique and truly made just for you!

Scrubinista’s – Looking Good in Scrubs Uniforms and Getting Organized in 2010!

Thursday, January 7th, 2010 BY Celia

Celia-HHappy New Year to you!  After the first few days of the New Year, you may be thinking of things you can do to improve your life this year. So there’s no wonder why January is National Get Organized Month.  Here are a few suggestions for chic scrubs uniforms that will add color to your life, and tips to help you get organized for 2010:

-         Dress to Impress:  Yes, it’s winter, but that doesn’t mean your clothes or medical uniforms have to be drab.  Let out your inner Scrubinista and wear scrubs uniforms in bright colors and bold patterns that make you feel as good as you’ll look.  Be fabulous in Baby Phat scrubs.  Like Baby Phat’s chic new Go Wild animal print scrubs.  Or you can try the Citrine/Black solid pieces for those who want to be just a little tame.  (Then pair with a comfy Dansko clogs for a professional look.)

-         Start a Morning Routine:  Each morning when you wake up, avoid hitting snooze, make your bed and get dressed as soon as possible.  Walking around the house in your pajamas or the scrubs that you sleep in can mentally keep you in the bed. Then, while you have your breakfast or quick cup of coffee, write down everything you need to get done that day and keep the list somewhere handy, like in your car, purse, or pocket, so you can check your list throughout the day.

-         Tackle Your Inbox:  Once you get to school or the office, spend the first few minutes of your morning to read your emails.  Once you’ve read them, sort the emails into categories or folders for reference, or delete if you don’t need them.  You’ll be more organized if your Inbox is sorted.

-         Loosen Up: Most people rush through their day, eating at their desk or while standing up. Some never leave their work station until it’s time to go home!  That can lead to stress injuries and job burn out.  Make it a point to stretch and loosen up throughout the day. When you head to the bathroom, take a few extra minutes and stretch. Or while taking something from room to room, use that time to free your mind.  Even if you are at home all day, make sure you have a few minutes for yourself. Your mind needs to be clutter free in order to be organized.

Let’s use these tips to Get Organized and have a productive year!
