I absolutely love the new Dansko clog!
I think you will too!
The new Sanibel Clog from Dansko has a fresh updated look in soft spring colors and is oh-so-cute.
I just had to share it with you-

The new Sanibel Collection nursing clog is a lightweight rubber sole update of the classic Professional style. This nursing clog features the same all-day comfort, support and quality construction that Dansko is famous for, but with a non-slip, flexible, lightweight rubber sole. Super soft, hopsack print nubuck leather follows the natural contours of the foot. Comfort features include a roomy toe box, a non-allergenic vegetable tanned leather sockliner that evaporates perspiration and a generously padded instep. Dansko’s patented outsole carries the seal of acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association. 1 1/4″ heel.
Fit Tip: Your heel should lift up and down with every step. This is part of the famous Dansko fit. Think of the perfect fit as a “pinkie width” between your heel and the back of the shoe. This space at the back of the heel allows your foot to move naturally when walking and keeps your toes from hitting the front of the shoe. The Dansko Professional is sized according to European (EU) whole size standards.
Check out this offer: FREE Standard Ground SHIPPING on your order with the purchase of any Dansko shoe!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day Scrubinistas! Maybe it’s the color green or maybe it’s because it’s almost officially Spring, but Irish or not, St. Patrick’s Day always gets us in the mood for food & fun galore!
There are different meanings behind St. Patty’s Day and these are some of the St. Patrick’s Day Fun Facts that I could dig up:
♣ St. Patrick’s Day was originally started to celebrate the life of a great man named (you guessed it) Saint Patrick, who was a missionary and the patron saint of Ireland.
♣ The original color associate with Saint Patrick and his day was BLUE. It wasn’t until years after this holiday grew that it changed to GREEN. Why? Well, according to legend, St. Pat wore a shamrock on his outercoat to explain the details of the Holy Trinity.
♣ Thinking of visiting Ireland for St. Patty’s Day next year? The parades, shamrocks, and green foods are primarly for tourists only – in Ireland, it is more of a religious holiday (like Christmas and Easter).
♣ Corned Beef & Cabbage is not considered an Irish National dish. The connection with Saint Patrick’s Day specifically originates as part of Irish-American culture as beef was generally considered less desirable in Ireland but an affordable alternative to pork in the United States. Click Here for an in-depth blog post about the History of Corned Beef.
Did that last fact about Corned Beef inspire you to make a St. Patty’s meal today for your family or co-workers…and now you’re looking for St. Patrick’s Day recipes? Click Here to visit allrecipes.com’s St. Patrick’s Day category! Or try this recipe for Corned Beef & Cabbage sliders!
Hopefully, you’re having a great St. Patrick’s Day and are wearing your green-colored medical scrubs today! Until next time, check out these images of St. Patrick’s Day being celebrated around the world…

Nothing feels better than completing the perfect outfit with a snazzy pair of shoes. Need a break from the gray, snowy, dreary weather? Perk up your day with a pop of sunny yellow color! From soft golden hues, to full on look at me yellow, we’ve got plenty of chic, cheery prints featuring mood lifting splashes of this can’t miss color. Here are some of my favorites:
Koi Tiger Butterfly print – This top tackles two trends in one with a bold all over butterfly pattern in Lemon. The shorter length, shirred sleeve detail, and sweetheart neckline give the top a sharp, fashion forward look. Try this top with Koi’s 707 Jordan pant and 412 Valerie lab coat in black for a stylish head to toe statement.

Our exclusive Paige print with lemon yellow trim has just the right amount of pop to stand out from the crowd. The contrast trim brings the drawn dot top together with the abstract plaid print with flair. Try it out with our 1155 Trendy pant and a pair of ALG801 Alegria Feliz nursing shoes to complete the look.

For a more subtle splash of color, check out Dickies Sunshine Daisy print. This fun floral print scrubs top has some unique features. The buckle detail at the v-neckline and toggle pockets add that extra touch of style. Pair it with a pair of Dickies Generation Flex 857455 pants and layer with Healing Hands’ 6546 super soft cotton tee in white.

Enjoy adding some color to your wardrobe – and happy shopping!!

Have you heard the news? February 1-7 is National Women’s Heart Health Week!
~ Why is this such a big deal?
Well, according to the American Heart Association, “Cardiovascular disease claimed the lives of nearly 500,000 American women each year, yet women were not paying attention. In fact, many even dismissed it as an “older man’s disease.” To dispel the myths and raise awareness of heart disease as the number one killer of women, the American Heart Association created Go Red For Women – a passionate, emotional, social initiative designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health.” What a great initiative to promote heart healthiness!
~ How can you participate?
There are many ways to get involved with the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Program! They have a few ideas listed on their website including Taking Legislative Action and Sharing Your Stories. A few major department stores are donating the proceeds of select items to the AHA (click here to see more information).
My favorite way to show support would have to be Celebrating Wear Red Day which is Friday, February 4, 2011. This one is very simple to do, simply wear red tomorrow!! When someone asks “why is everyone wearing red?”, you can help them out - word of mouth is the best form of awareness. For more information, click below:
Let’s all get together and promote Women’s Heart Health this week and beyond! We should all strive to be “Heart Healthy at any age”. Until next time…
